Newspaper Nails

Being that I work at a newspaper… one of my co-workers thought it would be fitting if I tried newspaper nails. They are probably the easiest application I’ve done thus far… so simple I am positive anyone could do it.

Step 1 Apply a white, off-white or light gray base coat.
Step 2 Cut out pieces of newspaper that will cover the surface of your nail.
Step 3 Lay the newspaper on top of your nail.
Step 4 Put rubbing alcohol onto a cotton ball and press the cotton ball down on the newspaper/nail for at least 10 seconds.

And wahlah! When you take the cotton ball and newspaper off the ink on the newspaper will be transferred onto your nail. Pretty cool huh.

I’m thinking this concept could work with transferring a lot of different things. I have some ideas to experiment with and if any of them work out, you will be the first to know.
