I thought this would be a fun idea for all the photography nerds out there! They are for sale at my etsy store, along with many other styles of earrings.
I was trying to decide what type of earrings I should do next when it hit me. Why don’t I make nail polish bottle earrings!? It only makes sense to combine my two favorite hobbies.
I thought I would share, and that maybe some of my fellow nail art bloggers might appreciate them. Right now I’ve made 5 different colors and I made them all glittery… because you can’t go wrong with glitter polish!
I’m working on some Valentine’s Day Earrings for Etsy. Making earrings is a little time consuming, especially the way they’ve been selling lately. So I haven’t been keeping up with my nails. I’ve actually done a few designs but just never got around to photographing them. Maybe I will give it a rest for a while… or maybe not 🙂
I’ve been hard at work making earrings for my etsy store. I can’t believe how many I’ve sold in the past few weeks. I just can’t seem to keep up! There are still some available if you’re looking to buy a present for someone, or a secret santa gift. $10 each.
These are some recent additions to my etsy store. I made some for Craig’s mom and I thought they were so cute, I made a second pair of each to sell. I’ve been selling a lot of earrings lately, so I think I might see what else I can come up with!
I finally did it! I have been wanting to do a fairy garden for a few months now. I have been pinning inspiration like a mad woman. I originally planned on doing an actual miniature garden outdoors but I have never planted anything in my life and it seemed a little bit intimidating. I thought I could at least keep moss alive… So I bought some soil and live mood moss. I thought making a cute little hobbit house would be a simpler alternative then making an actual house. Isn’t it adorable. I am so excited about it. I am going to keep it at work because I am there so often and if I put it in my living room my cats would probably eat it… I might end up adding a few things here and there but it’s pretty much complete for now.
I made everything but the rocks. Some of the stuff I made for it is for sale on my etsy store.
Hello everyone! So a little while ago, a few people shared a video with me of these really pretty rainbow nails applied with a sponge. Of course, she made it look sooo easy. So I thought I would give it a go. I have no idea how she did it. First I chose the colors… then I applied them to the sponge and dabbed at my nail (like she did in the video) but the colors where too light. It would probably have taken at least 5 coats to look nice and I did not have time to put 5 coats of nail polish on with a sponge to each one of my nails. I figured at that point, I already have the polish on my nail, I might as well just paint the colors on. And this is what happened. I think it looks pretty cool. 🙂
Last time I posted a picture of the clay wedding couple I made. After my co-workers husband saw the gift, he asked me if I would make his best man and groomsmen out of clay so he could give them as gifts. He had me make them holding a baseball bat and wearing a hat with the colors of their favorite baseball team.
And of course, my kitten update… I decided to compare them month by month. So here they are one month ago and what they look like now.
They were so wittle! And they are growing up so fast!
