I got these stickers a while ago and never had a good excuse to use them until now. They are from www.etudehouse.com. They are really easy to apply and I’m thinking about ordering some more designs.
It’s been a full week since I’ve been back from my vacation to Norway. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to plan my next overseas trip!
I have no idea what to call these nails. I used a small paintbrush to brush on a few different colors. It was easy because they were all random strokes, I just tried not to overlap the colors too much because the colors would get muddy. And then I stamped over top of them. I think it’s a nice effect. Colorful and chaotic.
It’s been a while since I’ve photographed my nails. I didn’t do anything special this time but I was bored. It’s a dandelion stamp.
Update: Well my drawing obsession didn’t last for very long. I decided to commit to doing a craft show this fall. I want to make at least 15 pairs of earrings and around 10 pairs of each one… needless to say I am going to be very busy for the next few months.
My trip to Norway that I planned 5 months ago, is already next month! I can’t believe it’s only a few weeks away. I am nervous and excited. I’ll let you know how it goes.
I found some time to do an Easter design!
These are links to some Easter designs from previous years.

I am in love with these colors. This might be my favorite stamped nail polish design so far. If you couldn’t tell, I am a little obsessed with gradients right now. I’m not sure if the obsession will end soon or not, only time will tell. There are so many different color combinations yet to try!
I thought this particular design reminded me of Bohemian decor and fashion, hence the title “Boho Nails”
I’ve been kind of dropping the ball on my nail art lately. It’s hard having more than one hobby at a time.
I went a little crazy with the colors on this one. I guess I’m hoping for spring to come early!
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
I found out that scotch tape works the best when taping off my nails because when I paint over the tape the nail polish doesn’t seep through as much as it does with other tape. The only problem is, sometimes it sticks to my nails too well and it doesn’t want to come all the way off. It helps me to put a tiny bit of lotion on the nail before I put tape on them. This way it adds a barrier between the tape and my nails to prevent the tape from adhering to the surface.
When I went to the store to buy more nail polish I noticed the lady next to me buying a spray that helps the polish dry faster. I think I might go back and get some because I hate waiting for my nails to dry and having to start over on a nail because I accidentally smudged it or I put the clear coat on to soon and it smeared.
I’m finding the art of painting nails is mostly trial and error… a lot of error. 🙂
